Intrinsic Properties, defined in Annex A, clause 4.3 of the Hypermedia/Time-based Structuring Language (HyTime), occur on every class in every property set, and are included in every grove plan.


class-name  (classnm) [1]

Datatype: Component name
Description:
The name of the node's class.

grove-root  (grovroot) [2]

Datatype: Node
Node Relationship: irefnode
Allowed Classes: Any class in grove's property set.
Description:
The root of the grove in which the node occurs.
NOTE:
The value exhibited by a node for this property shall be a reference
to the node itself if the node is the root of a grove.

subnode-property-names  (subpns) [3]

Datatype: Component name list
Description:
The names of all the subnode properties for which values are exhibited
by the node, in ascending order of property number.
NOTE:
The names of properties excluded from the grove plan are also excluded
from the value of this property.

all-property-names  (allpns) [4]

Datatype: Component name list
Description:
The names of all the properties for which values are exhibited by the
node, in ascending order of property number.
NOTE:
The names of properties excluded from the grove plan are also excluded
from the value of this property.

children-property-name  (childpn) [5]

Datatype: Component name
Description:
The name of the children property of the node.
When:
The node has a children property that is included by the grove plan.

data-property-name  (datapn) [6]

Datatype: Component name
Description:
The name of the data property of the node.
When:
The node has a data property that is included by the grove plan.

data-sep-property-name  (dseppn) [7]
"data separator property name"

Datatype: Component name
Description:
The name of the data separator property of the node.
When:
The node has a data separator property that is included by the grove
plan.

parent [8]

Datatype: Node
Node Relationship: irefnode
Allowed Classes: Any class in grove's property set.
Description:
The parent of the node.
When:
The node has a parent.

tree-root  (treeroot) [9]
"content tree root"

Allowed Classes: Any class in grove's property set.
Description:
The root of the content tree in which the node occurs.

origin [10]

Description:
The origin of the node.
When:
The node has an origin.

origin-to-subnode-rel-property-name  (otsrelpn) [11]
"origin to subnode relationship property name"

Datatype: Component name
Description:
The name of the subnode property of the node's origin, the value
exhibited for which includes the node.
When:
The node has an origin.

principal-tree-root  (ptreert) [12]

Datatype: Node
Node Relationship: irefnode
Allowed Classes: Any class in grove's property set.
Description:
The root node of the principal content tree.
When:
The grove has a principal content tree.
